Modus Outcomes, a scientific research company, is looking for people who have experiences with geographic atrophy (GA), also known as advanced dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). They are interested in understanding how the condition impacts daily life for people with GA and those who help them.
The study includes people aged 60 and older living with GA/advanced dry age-related AMD and their main, non-paid caregiver. Patients and caregivers in this study will each participate in separate 60 – 90 minute telephone or video interviews. Participants who are eligible and complete the telephone or video interview will receive an honorarium for their time.
No medical treatment will be provided as part of this study. Participation is voluntary, and personal information will be anonymous and confidential.
