Prevent Blindness is partnering with an organization to recruit individuals who areover 55 years old, with late-stage dry AMD (also known as Geographic Atrophy (GA), to work with a pharmaceutical company in an advisory capacity.
About the advisory role
The role will require you to explain the impact of your sight loss in the broadest sense – emotional and financial impacts, any support you may need, your independence. The team will be documenting how this has developed and continues to change over time.
Eligibility criteria
Participants must be over 55 years old and have a diagnosis of late-stage dry AMD, also known as Geographic Atrophy (GA). Participants must also be willing to join an online meeting for about an hour, once a year, for the next three years.
Honorarium
Eligible participants will be compensated for their time and insight.
