More Responders Needed for AMD Survey

Posted in: Latest News

The Cochrane Eyes and Vision US Satellite (CEV@US), located at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHBSPH) is conducting an important survey to identify research priorities for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Their previous request for participants in the survey has yielded 35 responses so far, but at least 50 are needed.

The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Participants will provide ratings for research projects and rate the importance of AMD-related outcomes used in such research. General questions about the participant are also asked. Completing the survey will help provide researchers and clinicians with information regarding the questions and outcomes that are important to people affected by macular degeneration. No personally identifying data will be collected as part of this project.

This study is funded by the National Eye Institute and has been approved by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Institutional Review Board.
