Shut Down Closes Talking Books Service

Shut Down Closes Talking Books Service

Announcement from the National Library Service
As a result of the US federal government shutdown, most Library of Congress personnel, including all NLS staff, will be furloughed, and the Talking Books Service for the blind and visually impaired will be shut down for the duration. Service will be restored as quickly as possible once NLS staff are allowed to return to work. We truly regret any inconvenience this may cause you.

We offer resources and free materials for those living with low vision.
