Survey for Individuals Living with Neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration

We hope this message finds you well. Prevent Blindness is helping VOZ Advisors, a consulting firm that specializes in patient advocacy and engagement during the drug development process. They are currently working with a global biopharmaceutical company to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and experiences faced by individuals living with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) or wet AMD.

To collect these valuable insights, they have created an online survey for members of our community to complete. Through this survey, the company hopes to gain a better understanding of the economic burden wet AMD has on patients as well as identify gaps and unmet needs in the community as it relates to financial impact, patient assistance, and access to clinical trials.

The topics covered in the survey include:

  • Your wet AMD (nAMD) diagnostic experience
  • Your experience with health insurance/healthcare coverage
  • Your experience with patient assistance/charity programs offered by pharmaceutical companies
  • The economic impact of wet AMD and financial costs associated with it
  • Your perspective on clinical trials for wet AMD

The survey should take around 30-40 minutes to complete. You are welcome to complete it solo or with the support of a care partner or caregiver, whichever is most comfortable for you.

The first four questions are screening questions to make sure you’re eligible. If you are eligible and complete the full survey, you will receive $25 Amazon gift card upon completionIf you are interested in receiving this gift card, please submit your email address through the survey.
